    Default Holster/Gun Belt Question

Looking at getting an Alien Gear IWB holster and gun belt for my Glock 19. Want to be able to carry shirt tucked and untucked. I have typically never worn a black belt (don't even own black shoes).

My question is do you guys worry about the exposed black clip being extra noticeable on a brown belt when shirt is tucked in? Thought about getting an extra pair of c-clips or j-clips so clip might not be as noticeable. Would a j-clip defeat the purpose of having a gun belt since the clip only hooks under the belt for drawing?

Just wanting to get a decent affordable/comfortable setup to make myself carry more often and not have the "excuse" of not having comfortable holster.

    Thanks

I wouldn't say it wouldnt be pointless being the heavier gun belt has more support I find it more comfortable. Question would be would it bother you the black clips being noticeable? Kinda like I know some people care about printing and some don't

I might would get used to the clips being visible, but the whole point of carrying concealed is no one but yourself knowing that you are armed right?

Maybe I'm overthinking it as +75% of the general public wouldn't give it the first thought....obviously it's no concern in colder temps because I would more than likely wear some type of jacket. These warmer temps make it a bit more challenging though.

In warmer temps, if I'm carrying with the shirt in, I use a holster with only one clip and put my phone case in front or over it so it's not really visible if I'm careful.

I'm "trying" to carry my Glock 23. It's damn near unbearable.

I use a super tuck most of the time and don't give the exposed clips a second thought. With all the gadgets folks have hanging off of 'em these days only those who know will know, you know?

Ordered the brown belt and the Cloak Tuck 3.0, got an extra set of c-clips in case the standard clips don't work like I want.

    D,

Let me know how you like it. I'm currently using a Galco with my G19 but I'm looking for something I can tuck my shirt in with.

I ordered a Clipdraw for a P250 I won at a DU banquet. Can't carry with a tucked shirt but it's easy with an untucked shirt.

I don't worry about the clips showing. Most of the time my shirt will hide them a little anyway.

I use a G-Code IWB holster and have no issues with the clips showing. On holsters with the option, J-clips are a little more subtle.

Wild Bill Concealment sells a pretty well regarded gun belt, BTW.

I've been edumacated by a "professional" that IWB actually places very little weight on the belt, friction on your body and pressure from the belt actually hold the holster/gun in place for the most part. Which makes sense after it was explained like that.

Anyways, I will give a review of Alien Gear's belt and Cloak Tuck 3.0 when they come in.
