Elite 5

I am looking at an Elite 5 HDI for my Carolina skiff. It will mainly be used in the lake around the upstate and midlands with the occasional trip to the coast. Does anybody have any experience with these?

Yes, have one on my fishing boat back in FL. Good unit for the price, I would buy another. No complaints in the few years I have had it.

I had an Elite 5 on my JVX 18 until I got a new Tidewater and upgraded to the Elite 7. It's a great unit.

yea I have love my 7. Get the 7. not a big price difference and the screen is way better especially if you ever plan on running split screen

Thanks to tater I got the deal at academy. I love it. Great for a smaller boat and the screen size is plenty big enough for what I use it for. Very easy to install.
