    Default Long leaf

We are in the process of converting our loblolly pine to long leaf. In all it will probably be 250 acres that we cut. We are going to do it it in sections with 5 to 7 years between the cuts. The question is, is there any programs that I can enroll in for help with prep and planting cost or any tax incentive programs?

don't cheap out on the site prep for the LL. there are a lot of factors involved in LOB/LL conversion from soils to chemicals. raking is also another income generator that would need to be considered before reforestation. lots of different avenues and scenarios.

you want to it RIGHT the first time.
