    November 22 – November 29, December 6 – January 25
    State Youth Day - November 15
    Federal Youth Days - January 31st & February 7th

    I called DNR on Tuesday and they said that the dates should be approved "next Thursday" and that the dates should be posted in September.

    The dates are not official or approved until voted on and approved by the DNR board. That hasn't happened yet.

    The federal youth days, by law, have to be scheduled outside of the regular duck season on days when school is not in session. In the past these extra days had to be held consecutively so it was the Saturday and Sunday following the regular season. They lifted the consecutive requirement so now scheduling allows the two Saturdays following the regular season.

    I can remember one morning training your kids and we all almost got killed by another kid who's dad was training him the opposite way of doing thing right.

    DNR website says they're meeting on the 27th to discuss dates for waterfowl along with other topics.
