    Default Cattails

I've done some browsing online, and found a little helpful info, but wanted to ask here if any of you guys had ever planted cattails and grown them purposely. I know ponds and swamps are covered in them, but has anyone been successful growing them in pots or an aquarium type environment. My fiance is wanting to have cattails in the floral arrangement for our wedding in April. I was going to see what my options were. Can you transplant them? How long will the catkins stay in decent shape once the plant has been cut?

    Transplanting shouldn't be a problem.
