Default Since we are being all

Sentimental and stuff I figured I would throw in my 2014 recap also. Good season as always even though I left one tag unfilled. I was able to double one morning and fortunate enough to shoot a few more as the season went on. The best part was watching my cousin take his first turkey. Killed one in blue jeans which is definitely a first for me. Watched some great sunrises, got soaked in the rain, missed a nice bird, threw my hat and other various items into the dirt and woods a time or two. Was able to call in a couple other birds for a friend who just can't sit still. (amazes me that we ever kill a bird when I hunt with him). It is definitely a love hate relationship for me filled with great respect and humbling moments and comes and goes to quickly but I am already looking forward to next year. It is now time to head offshore.

    Preseason neighborhood birds teasing me.

Started with a rainy youth day where we could not get a shot since the SOB slipped in behind our blind. He was a trooper though and said hearing him gobble and spit and drum was so much more fun than deer hunting.

    Opening weekend Double.

Friend who cant sit stills bird second week.

    the carryout

Cousins first bird we sat in a blind killed him at 8:05

a double beard the second week.

another friend first turkey i had the pleasure of calling in for him.

    Very nice.
