Gotcha. Can't decide where I want to mount. Definitely don't want to suction cup it to the windshield. I've been looking at the dash pod mount, but I hate having it super visible while parked. I also don't want to take my eyes off of the road more than I have to, so having it within range of sight of the road will be key for me.

i have that mounted where i can easily look down and see it and switch it while driving its like tilted towards me.While driving i have the dual pillar pod gauges that i watch which is my boost and egt gauge. Those are all easy installs. I also have a ppe boost valve which helps a ton and is a $28 mod that takes 5 min to install. Also have a turbo mouthpiece or called a intake horn which makes the truck have faster spool and a louder turbo. That mod is about $80. Both help a ton and is even better with efi live.
What sorta mpg's are you getting. Is this a lly, lbz ? ccsb 4x4? And do you have an aftermarket exhaust?

2005 Chevy 2500 crew cab 4wd lt
PVC reroute
LBZ mouthpiece
Egr blocked
285/70/17 bfg on H2 rims
4" exhaust from turbo back
Efi live with a +40hp tune I averaged 23 with cruise set @2000 rpms. If I got over 2000 rpms mpg would drop but never below 19 that was hand calculated. Never did trust the truck DIC
One of the nice features I added was having efi live act as a turbo brake when I was towing.
Buckshot1224 should be able to provide more info as well.

06 LBZ CCSB LT 4x4 285/75/16
Need to do:
Block the EGR
Reroute the PVC.
Add an exhaust
Get something to monitor temps (most likely going with a cts to recalc for tires and monitor more than temps)
Get Efi live
On a side note, what size tank is on your truck? Previous owner told me it was 20, but I believe it's 26 per the dmax forums.

26 plus had another 50 gallon in the bed that was plumbed into the filler neck
If you get efi live the entire package it will monitor whatever you want on their handheld.

The turbo brake is indeed VERY NICE when towing (this is just from riding with buckshot and driving his truck a few times). He only has to use the brakes when it gets down to about 30mph. I believe he gets about 22 or so on the highway (that's crew cab 4x4, leveling kit, and 285 mud terrains). Think it's about 14-16 when pulling the 30 ft gooseneck with a load. He doesn't baby it either....
When I get a diesel EFI live/exhaust/intake will be the first mods.

Best thing my old man ever did to his '08 dodge 2500! Deleted all that b/s added EFI Live and picked up about 4-5 mpg. Not to mention his truck hasn't been to the shop since. It was going to the dealership about every 3 months because the turbo kept clogging up. I put EFI Live on my '07 Dodge 2500 also, but the '07's do not have all that emissions crap. I picked up about 2-3 mpg.
