Default Evening hunt on the farm.

Now that deer season is over, it was time to pump a little bit of water. Got water levels nice and have been letting it sit, mainly because of work keeping me from hunting. Anyways, the lady was pestering me about hunting because she wanted to kill a drake mallard, so we went.

Needless to say, I have created a monster. We only carried one gun so took turns shooting. One wood duck apiece, hen widgeon for her and the beheaded grey for me and at 5:20, a pair of mallards did it right in the decoys. She crushed him stone dead about a foot off the water.

Shitty pic, I know but you catch the drift.

And the kicker to the night, backstrap steaks off her first deer with some veggies washed down with single barrel over ice.
