I have the original SBE, and I love it, I have priced the SBE II and it was a little higher than your 1299.00
I guess that's the going price [img]graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

inch shells . I have one and I love it . They retail for around $1200 , but can be found for less than $1000. Read the article in the latest issue of Waterfowl Hunter magazine where they compare the sbe 2 and the xtrema . You can't go wrong with either one .

I have the new SBE 2 and love it. I throws up easily and is the smoothest shooting gun I have ever shot. Mine is the black one with the 24" barrel.

i got the sbe II back in late august. best feeling gun i have ever shouldered. am currently in love with it. great on doves and early geese. i paid considerably less than 1299 for it. (pretty close to 1100 which is still too much). PM me if youre interested.
