Christ this dude is hard to deal with.
I've made it in the oven and in a dehydrator. You need to keep a closer eye on it in the oven until you figure out how long it needs. Strip thickness and oven temp make it a guessing game until you've done it a few times. It's a lot easier to over-dry it in the oven. In the dehydrator, I set it before bed and check it in the morning. I use a lot of chili powder and cumin in mine. It'll make the house smell good and you'll wake up hungry.
I could fit more in my oven by sticking a toothpick through one end and hanging the strips from the rack. I used foil under for a drip pan.
