    Default Good morning for me

    Hunted a swamp this morning that I have hunted for the past 4-5 years, seen a few ducks not alot though. Knocked one down rite at shooting time, then about 5 mins later 2 came in low. I threw up and lined up the first bird and at the same time I pulled the trigger they crossed and I killed both in one shot. First time I've done that, I've killed one and crippled another in one shot but never killed them both. So I had my limit so I start picking them up. Walked strait to the drake and the hen was 5 yards from him. Grab her and go to put her in the tote and son of gun she's banded! First one I've ever killed in 10 years of duck hunting. O yea then me and my buddy were standing around the truck talking after the hunt, I go to pull the card out my camera and get half way there and a dang nice buck steps out 75 yards from me. Holler back at my buddy to grab the rifle, he rested up on the back of the truck and shot......non-shooting son of a gun, woulda been his first nice buck.

    Don't hate, u non deer shooting son of a gun, u and my buddy would get along good, he misses everytime he sees a nice buck too.

    Problem ain't (wasn't) missing for me it wasn't knowing where the hell the bullets were going down range. I'd sight in the rifle see a doe kill it drt! Then I'd see a buck, shoot it, have a good blood trail and then never find it. Actually had that happen with a Doe too

    Turns out two of the screws holding my base for my scope had sheerest off and the scope wasn't solid. Didn't figure it out until the beginning of last season when I went to test my rifle. Since then I've been driving tacks! Killed a Doe last night with my daughter (her 2nd hunt with me ever). That was fun!
