Believe it or not, I actually know where Ashburn is (Turner County, GA). I did some work down there, and at one point we rented a helicopter and flew down from Atlanta to look for some property. At lunch time we landed in the field next to Shoneys at I-75 and went in to grab a bite to eat. We got some very interestintg looks from the locals.

The plantation was less than 4 miles from I 75. 22000 acres......nice little track. The local folks I met seemed to be good folk. I did notice something different about that county from mine that I am not at liberty to share ....online.

Soooo, S&A, you think peanuts ain't all they're growing down there, huh? Would that be Gawga Ganga?

Arite, I looked at damn near every tract of land of any size in that county that might have been for sale. Of course that has been a dozen or so years ago. It was a dry county at the time - that's right no beer, wine or liquor for sale there. You could go down to Tift County or up to Crisp County and get a beer, but no liquor. If that's not it then I must have missed something...please share, indeed.

Ahhh, I think I'm onto to what you are saying. There are a few down there, but they do seem to lack the density we have here in the Lowcountry.
