    Default Third Wood Duck Nesting

This is the second nesting in this particular box. The last one hatched 14 eggs. The other box, down the bank, hatched 10 eggs.

Well, this hen has 10 eggs and she's still laying. She must have been unsuccessfullt her first attempt somewhere else. Hope she delivers.

I've seen a ton of wood duck broods this year. I'm guessing I have 80% utilization on boxes this spring. I've got several that fledged and have bluebirds in them now. Pretty cool.

I was pulling boards on a leveler last week and saw four WD broods in one pond.

Looks like they are having a great hatch. I hope we don't get a drought like last year!
