    Default Grander

Saw a couple pictures on Facebook of a big marlin that a fella I know put up. I don't know who was on the rod, but it's a big fish. It would have been wild to see that fish in the water. He said it was the 2nd biggest blue recorded caught off Bermuda, and the biggest caught in the world this year.

1289. Damn what a fish. I wonder what the seas were like with TS Beryl off shore and headed that way?

You reckon the drive back to the marina had a few beers cracked? I'd be as drunk as a goon if my boat pulled that hoss in. Hottamighty!!!

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

A friend of mine bought a replica mount of a previous state record that weighed around 970 lbs. It's on the floor of some property he owns. Seeing it that close up really brings it home how big those suckers are and how much of a feat it is to get one to the boat. I gotta admit that I'd feel bad about drying one out. I never felt bad about eating smoked marlin dip though.

I was wondering WTF dido meant.

We killed nearly every billfish we caught for many years. We caught a lot of billfish. Times have certainly changed, and for the better.
