The SCD Dove Club - Who Will Join?
Aight we have some people with fields available in several areas of the state. Some in Graycourt, Simpsonville, have been mentioned. And I was just recently informed by an SC Ducks member that a man in Cold Point, Laurens County has a large field (+/- 80 acres) available for leasing that he will plant. He's interested in planting wheat, sorghum and millet. That's a big field. He may also have another field in the Lisbon area that may come open for lease.
So if we are going to go forward with this thing we need to start getting some prices and figure out what the membership fee for the club is gonna be. The membership fees are going to have to be enough to cover the costs of the leases.
We're probably going to need a pretty good number of members. To get enough we may have to go outside the SC Ducks membership to get the numbers needed.
If we do that I suggest whoever we bring in that aren't members of the site should be people y'all know well. Family members or close friends. Otherwise it's going to be a bunch of folks we don't know anything about, and I'd prefer we didn't go down that road. If we're going to do that we could just run an ad in the classifieds and that's not at all what we want I don't think.
But before any of that becomes an issue we first need to see how many potential members we have here at the site.
Remember this is for next year not this season.
Reply to this thread if you are pretty sure you're in.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
