Western Turkey Trip

After having a great season here at home I decided to book a flight out west. I’ve never turkey hunted outside of the southeast and didn’t really study maps until I was on the plane. There was a bit of a learning curve and it took a couple days to start locating birds. I walked around 50 miles through the mountains but was able to bring a couple Merriams home. I’m glad to be back near sea level but I’m looking forward to making a return trip next year.
