    Default I 26

Hearing some horror stories about travel time. What is it looking like, in reality, for those who are running it on the reg?

A total shit show from exit 85 until you reach 103 or thereabouts. Please keep both hands on the wheel, watch parallel lane traffic like a hawk. Some of the patch work will literally throw you a foot either way. Semi traffic in the barrier chutes is not for the faint of heart. Some of them get very, very, close. Most locals are using US 176 to Ballentine exit. Add 30 minutes minimum to your usual ETA.

Every weekday I leave 5:30am from Elmwood to Woodruff. No problems. It’s actually nice.

4ish- 5:45pm back to Columbia. A little more traffic but not terrible. Maybe adds 10 minutes.

Pulling a trailer between Columbia and Newberry sucks these days from the “patch work”.

Ran it down on Friday and back on. Sunday. Smooth sailing with no delays either way. Stay off your phone and drive like you were taught when you were 15 and you’ll be fine. It’s not 2006 Iraq.

From what I gather it just depends on the time of day you come through and what day. It's only gonna get worse when school is out in a month and folks head to the beach... pullin' boats and campers

You couldn't pay me to pull a trailer through that stretch.

I95 south of I26 is awful too. Whoever did concrete patch work must not own a level or know how to use one.

Meh. Left the beach at 7 and hit Hendersonville at a few minutes before 11. Easy peasy…

Still waiting on SC to widen 26 & 95 with all the “surplus” $$ they have.
