    Yep. Used to be that "this thread is worthless without pics." Now, the same people with public Instagrams that post all the time will log on here to berate people for ruining spots, fisheries, and the sport for putting up pics. Before Facebook groups for every type of hunting and fishing in SC, this site was full of 16-20 year old cyberscouters and chest thumpers. I'd bet the average member age is much higher now. Hell, I've been a member for half my life...

    I find it interesting that some of the people complaining about the lack of hunting and fishing content never contributed to the hunting and fishing content to begin with.

    The main reason I've been away is the site is very SLOW... I know it happens, but it's been more frequent lately. I'm usually on the site from my cell phone and it's terrible lately.

    Yes you have. And have come a long way from your tube socks and bass huntin' days. Been fun to watch.

    I miss Spellcheck. But he learned to fish, found a good woman and grew up on us too.

    Site is slow as molasses and I've gotten so I don't post photos anymore unless its one of my grandkids doing something cool. Last time I posted photos were of a couple of coyotes I caught. Made the mistake of posting a picture of them in the dog box and the first 5 replies were negative so I deleted it.

    Mostly because of how slow everything is now. Heck I've meet some great people on here but the folks jumping on each other for differing opinions is another reason.

    I don't like all of these new people. They're tacky, and I don't care about their politics.. I'd rather walk up to a group of turkey hunters and ask them about their recent hunts.

    I mean they would have been really good with that sauce, but at the end of the day they are still soft shells and they are delicious.
