    Default NC Opening day

Day 1 started quiet nothing gobbling at my first spot but I hung around til 7:30. Moved on to spot number 2 and found a quiet place at the backside of the 100 acre tract. At 9:30 I heard the first gobble and at 10:15 he was dead. Only calls used were made by ccleroy and no decoys were used.

Nice. NC has some big old toms. I need to get up there and check some family land out side of Wadesboro.

    What county Anson?

Stanly County just north of Anson/Wadesboro up Hwy 52 about 30 minutes. Anson around Wadesboro has a bunch of birds.

Excellent. I am wrapped up with jakes. Trying to shake them and find the gobblers.
