    Default Need bird taxidermist recommendations

I have a couple of Mearns and Gambels quail from a trip to Arizona this year that I would like to get mounted….the Mearns is beautiful….anyway I would like solid recommendations on someone fairly local who is good with small birds. I know that Shane is one of the best as he has done a Pintail for me but $1300-1500 for 2 birds is more than I would like to spend.

Any recommendations??? Please limit to folks that you KNOW do good work.

    Thanks!

Check out feathered arts taxidermy, specialize in birds and in Tx now. SC roots. They can point you in the right direction, if not get you squared away.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
