My advice…bolstered by an outfitter/rancher that’s been doing this a looooonnng time. Study frontal shots on YouTube…be ready, willing, and able to make that shot if presented with it at a range you are comfortable with. The guy I refer to said eastern deer hunters passing 20 yard frontal shots in favor of 45-50 yard or longer broadside shots drove him absolutely nuts. They will be coming in looking to fight or screw…you’ll likely get good looks at frontal shots…and they are deadly. That’s all I have…still trying to figure it all out myself.
