One of my best friends from HS was a black dude named Marc Peters. We met in the 6th grade when I was made "captain" by the PE teacher for a pick up game of basketball. I won the toss and got first pick. Mark was taller than us and, well, black so I picked him first. Boy was that a mistake. Hard lesson is stereotypes was learned that day as Marc sucked at basketball. I mean suh-hucked at basketball. Shot free throws granny style. Which would have been cool if he made 'em. But he didn't. none of 'em.
So I say all that to say this...
He was a horrible dancer too. His mother made him go to an all black college after HS. He joined a frat and got arrested headed back to Atlanta from Miami with a trunk full of booger sugar, several grand in cash and a loaded 357.
Turns out he was an even worse drug smuggler/dealer than he was a basketball player and dancer.
He was, as it turns out, a really good hunter and honorary honkey.
So, I ask again, can bart dunk or should that gal get her props for throwing one down on a tater?
