    Default Herbicide Ratio?

Have some wet old rice field areas that I was able to disc when very dry a few weeks ago that I can burn the regrowth down to plant millet. Have generic 41% glyphosate and tractor supply 24D. What percent mixture would yall recommend to nuke the regrowth before broadcasting millet? Thanks in advance

You only need the glyphosate to burn it down.

    1 qt. to the acre.

Thanks. With my sprayer that’s about a 1 percent mixture. How long until ok to broadcast after?

1qt to the acre and a hot surfactant and you should be good to go in a few days!

Not if theres broadleaf weeds. That’s how resistance starts. Definitely put the 2-4d in, the rate should be on the label.

Yep what wackem said. 24D is cheap insurance. Don’t skimp on surfactant either.

fly can be broadcast immediately afterwards or before... with 2,4D you need to wash at least 2 weeks for the residual to disappear.

So it sounds like if I want to plant next week and spray tomorrow I should maybe just spray glyphosate now and if conditions allow spray 24d post germination.
