Bent a lifter rod. Happened to me at 4600 miles a long time ago in the 5.3. They were lined up then with 5.3 and 6.2 motors.

    LS swap?

Tell him don’t feel bad, I got a truck with 1200 miles that I’m guessing will be having its rear axle rebuilt. Dealer added friction modifier today, but expects to see me back soon when the noise does not go away!

Like you have stated, they all have problems!

    It’s a POS?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Unless you run an auto repair shop, then it’s a gold mine.

I don't think people driving behind durangos these days expect their blinkers to work.

People don't use blinkers anymore. Until they are already into their turn. It is maddening...

Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

Posts like this make me appreciate my 2012 Dirtymax all the more. Thanks to some modifications, I can get up to 22 MPG, pull pretty much anything I need to and not worry about it. After being quoted roughly a 100k to replace it, I think I’ll keep it. My first house only cost me 70k and it didn’t have wheels.

New vehicles keep going like this and we might all need a ride in his durango.
