Chase Hunter is the key to this team. When he plays well, Clemson has a chance. I agree with CC. Hall was solid but far from spectacular. Not taking anything away from him. Some games, he carried the team.

It was weird that Clemson was really good at preventing the 3, all season and especially in the tournament. They obviously failed at that tonight.
Bama just started letting the 3's rain and Clemson just couldn't keep up.

The threes weren't the reason Clemson lost. Shooting less than 50% from the the free throw line is what got them beat. An 85% team absolutely sucked it up tonight.

I was reminded over the past couple of games why I don’t much watch basketball. Having a rooting interest in a basketball game is miserable. There are far too many momentum swings, and I’m convinced lifelong fans of basketball schools have shorter lives. Clemson fought their tails off and came up short. A win last night would’ve cost my family a lot of money, so there’s that.

Clemson won a game early in the tournament when they hit every free throw and I think Baylor missed them.
