    Former South Carolina defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward has joined the Clemson football staff as a special assistant to the head coach.

    Ward recently posted a picture of him in a Clemson shirt, showing him being part of the program.

    TigerNet's David Hood first reported the news on our football message board.

    Ward was the defensive coordinator at South Carolina under Steve Spurrier from 2009-2015.
