Haven’t heard any reports yet. I know Mt Pleasant seafood has roe for sale though.

I have a buddy who works at Mt.Pleasant seafood and he sent me a pic of some. That's what got me thinking. I know its still a little early but I would be lying if I said I hadn't caught them this time of the year before.

I never liked them until a buddy of mine made some kind of patties out of them similar to a salmon patty.

    It's early
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    Valentines Day...

If you have kids...letting them chunk a sabiki rig and reeling in two or three shad against the current at the same time is about as fun as it gets. Or just chunking a spoon and reeling in a single with every cast. I have not had much luck behind the damn in a couple of years but running up to the lake from Arrowhead has been productive.

Or you could just not post shit on the internet and let people burn some gas and figure it out? But I’m sure the new found shad guides will crank up soon enough anyhow, perhaps your report will have them booking with the quickness

Me and creek boy went today only caught 3 in a hour. Still not hot yet.
