    Default Introducing Paladin

Been in a funk since I lost Thatche. I dont hunt birds as much. Daughter is on fire to hunt critters and ducks are the next item on her list so it just made sense to start the process over.

We are going to test and hopefully breed.

Introducing Paladin. Pal for short. It took him one day to figure out steps, how not to get confused by the storm door, and where his food bowl is on the other side of the house. He's also got the side eye down and is sleeping through the night.

    Little Sister is smitten.

Heck yeah. Good luck with him. Keep posting pic's as he gets bigger.

Missing my dog, but just not in the position for a new pup right now.

If you make it back down towards BigBrothers hollar at me. The squirrels were thick on the river during deer season.

    That hound's already ruint.

    Congrats to the little lady.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

beautiful dog buddy! Glad you got one
“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”
    --John Madson, The Mallard, 1960
