Default Lost Dog - Chesapeake - Male

Lost my Chesapeake while duck hunting this morning. Went off chasing a cripple and never came back. Lost between Red Bluff Landing and Sandy Bluff on the Horry County side of the river. IMG_0430.jpg

This one should be found tomorrow. He's got a collar on with the phone number.

Have you shared on FB? As much as folks hate it word travels faster on FB when it comes to lost dogs. Praying you find him!
Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.

I had a guy from Fayetteville fly his inferred drone over the area tonight where my Chesapeake went missing. We saw raccoons, deer, and coyotes, but no dog. Unless he drowned, it looks like he made it out the swamp. Dog was healthy and strong so unless his collar for caught on something, I don’t think he drowned. Flood stage at the Little Pee Dee had the river swamp flowing pretty strong, but he was a strong swimmer. Hopefully he will show up at someone’s house. It is being shared on facebook so the word is out and many thanks to those who have helped look for him. Happy New Years to everyone!

Found my dog this morning about 1 1/2 miles downstream on the opposite side of the river. It’s been a long 48 hours of wading swamps and driving around looking for him. Facebook was awesome as two different post were shared over 600 times.IMG_3108.jpg

Great news! Happy for the dog, happy for you! Had one get lost just like that in Bayou Meto years ago thinking he followed another group out of a hole as we were going in. Found him later that afternoon but it took several years off my life. Not something I'd wish on anybody. Again, very glad it worked out for both of you!
