    Default Apple AirTags For Dogs?

Is anyone using Air Tags on a collar to keep up with there dogs?

Can you use the "noise" function to act as a tone with a dog that is already tone broke?

How water proof are these things?

They only work if the tag is around another apple product. So unless your dog is kidnapped or picked up by someone with an iPhone with their Bluetooth on they are no good.

The would work in populated areas. If you're running them in the deer woods, it wouldn't be of much use.

I'm thinking of a lake area. Florence isnt an issue, plenty of land. I just need to break them, hence why I abandoned the system. I had really forgot about it. It took about 2 weeks to do it. Maybe less. I then through them on the shelf and forgot about them. Them being a Garmin system, I bought to train at the lake to establish boundaries. Was trying to come up with a more less costive way, as I lost the system, due to unforeseen circumstances.

I tried one of the Yip tags for mine. Solid waste of $30.

I put a Tile on our dog. Granted, it's only as good as its surroundings, but I've got decent coverage on my property with meshed outdoor WiFi, so the tile is pretty good when the ankle-biter isn't listening.

I just hit the button on the app or tell Amazon or Alexa to find my dog, and his Tag plays a nice, irritating tone.

Even better - train the dog to associate the tone with his/her favorite treat, and that oftentimes will make the dog run in for the treat.
