Platte Co. Wyoming.
~7 acre feedlot.
Approximately a bazillion mourning doves, a gazillion collard doves, and a pile of pigeons.

I’m cooking Andoulie sausage, fried dove medallions, and grits. My bud Wade’s wife is whipping up homemade biscuits and gravy. Wade is originally from the Greenwood area, and we are going to try to introduce these folks to the concept that dove shoots should involve large groups of hunters and a fair number of youngsters with everyone eating good food and having good fellowship.

Shooting doves…even a fifteen minute limit…isn’t nearly as fun solo as even a piss poor shoot used to be out at Awford’s shin-digs back in the day.
