Yep and the Town of Lexington Annexed the Area for the Tax Revenue and bypassed the County Overlay Construction Moratorium in order for it to proceed. If you live in the Town of Lexington, Mayor and entire Council should be ousted.

1100 Houses is what I saw, and 2 Hotels on Hwy. 6 between the Dam and Town of Lexington. No County Impact Fees to be paid to help with Roads, Traffic, etc. and can start almost immediately with Construction. Money Grab for the town, all small "town" in Lexington are doing this now for their Permit Fees, since Lexington County is trying to slow mass neighborhoods.

A large conference center is also part of the plan. This will supposedly bring people from all over the southeast according to the mayor.

Yeah, but is a 15 year plan from what I read. Still not good.

Project has been discussed for more than a decade, yet we find out from the newspaper.

I am absolutely pro capitalists. I am anti-making an already overcrowded area worse. Our infrastructure in Lexington can't even support what we have now.

Capitalism is great, this is a partnership with lexington county on a shared public resource. That’s not capitalism.

Redirect your fire. I tell 2-4 real estate "brokers" to pound sand every week. Doesn't make me a saint but they can't build on it if they don't own it.
