    Anybody planning for tomorrow or Saturday, weather permitting?

    Going tomorrow. Saturday looks horrible. Tomorrow will be fishable but not great.
    Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    Ride out Friday morning was bumpy and mixed until about 60' and then it became tolerable. Fished in 90-100'. Plenty of nice vermillion, a couple of hogfish, small BSB's, several of the endangered pinkies that I would have kept but didn't due to the other thread. My sons buddy had a 36-40" cobia to the side of the boat and it pulled off. Not one red snapper, heard plenty of reports of people catching them, just not us. Fished later than I wanted to (lines in about 3:45) trying to hit as many spots as we could looking for a red. Ride back in was OK until about 40' when the wind kicked up and we got our A$$es handed to us. All in all a fun day with the boys. Didn't mess with it Saturday.

    Had 3 big cobia come off at the boat and one huge one break a 2X 8/0 Mustad hook about 20’ under. Bastard was 70-80#.

    It was rough all day for us.

    Our offshore just getting going. Been some marlin sightings, a few Dodos, yellowtail and bluefins landed. No exotics for me yet. Started trip's Wednesday. It was a good start.
