About 12 years ago I wanted to get good at wahoo fishing.

    I pestered buckpro about it.

He mentioned nothing about yo zuri or nomad.

I learned how to wahoo fish.

Years later, I tried yo zuri and nomad.

Weeks after I went back to planers.

    I catch plenty of wahoo.

    That is all.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I pulled my bigger planers out the other day just to see what they looked like after years in the box. We caught a lot of nice wahoo out of Edisto on the old Prospect. I have no idea what ever happened to that boat...

Want to hook a big wahoo, put the standard 30 with the worst lure you have on the way back with a mono leader. That’s the one it’s hitting.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I have a #12 Old Salty planer off the cleat in one corner with an Ilander run down the line and a diving lure off the other corner. We've had a couple doubles on each, but we've also had days where the only wahoo bites came on one or the other (or neither).

Agree with the planer people for sure; I have a few Bonitas that have never touched the water and wanted to hear your experiences with them.

What do y'all's spreads consist of? How many lines? What's on each?

Planer rod with a bridle rig and a 12/0 wire line on a short bent butt rig packed with 80# monel when slow trolling.

If it doesnt involve a big planer, rubber bands, and paperclips, you are not doing it right. MG

We went to the hump, caught a few fish. Nothing of size, pnut size. Talking to another fisherman, we should of stayed in 150-200 depth. The grass was horrible and scattered. Wind blew last 3 days there.
