First off, from the bottom off me and my family's heart, thank you all for the support, the love, and the prayers. You guys really came together again and showed that there are truly awesome people in this world. This second bout was a true mental and physical battle and being stuck in that hospital for weeks at a time really tested my ability to remain true and not breaking under the stress and shittiness the illness gave me while I was there. But you guys took so much of that away with your overly generous donations and prayers that have taken so many of my issues outside of cancer away. Y'all did it TWICE and for that I will forever be in awe and thankful for this community. If I could hug every one of you I could and hope to see many of you at future hunting gatherings or around town. This place has been nothing short of a blessing, so much that I was able to help another family and young boy who deserves the world and to feel painless.

Men, get checked. Make your sons get checked. I've known too many guys my age get the same diagnosis and a few weren't as lucky as me to be able to bounce back. As for an update, I was released from the hospital a week ago and have been just trying to regain strength and try to get over the fatigue and weakness it left me with. I will forever remain with the mindset of #cantbreakjake as I know there were many eyes watching, and if I can go through this fight twice with grace to possibly show someone else how to fight, that attitude is everything, Even when it seems all against you, I'd do it ten more times.

This year has taught me so much, and I look forward to the Future, to getting back to my best shape and health, and being in the woods as much as possible. I love this place and all you degenerates that came together. Let's keep doing it to change lives. Mine isn't the only one that will need the help and I'm sure we can all come together many more times to do it for others.

Thank you again,
Jacob
