Default I need an electrician in Columbia/Irmo area

Bought a new range, pulled out old range and hauled it off.
Went to wire new range and it appears the old one was 110V and
the new one is 220V. Can someone recommend an electrician?
I have a crawl space and the breaker panel is probably only 15 ft from the range location.
Do I just need someone to pull another leg to the stove outlet?
I am pretty mechanical but not much on A/C electrical.
The wall outlet has three wires coming out of it, a bare copper, a black and a white.
    That's just 110V isn't it?
Thinking bare is ground, black is hot and white is neutral?

I've never heard of a 110 volt stove.

What gauge? How many amps are the breakers?

110 will only have 1 breaker.

It could still be 240v. Is the breaker a single or double pole? What gauge wire and amp breaker?

    Gas range/oven are typically 110.

That would make sense. I figured if he had a gas range, he'd mentioned it.

It's electric, big double looking breaker in the panel for it.
I think we have it figured out now,
Looks to be 40 or 50 amp

Swap the plug on the stove to match the old outlet.

Like a dummy, the old stove was hauled off and there was not "old outlet" on the wall behind it.
it was hard wired in a junction box.
"hold my beer" I'm about to wire something up, it'll either work of fry a new $2000 range

I love these "how do I pour piss out of a boot" threads.
    Dude, doncha got a voltmeter?
Hope you flipped the breaker thingy before you unwired the stove.

Dude, I know hot wires, ground wires, 110V basic shit
The old stove had 4 or 5 wires coming out of it
two whites, a bare ground, a black, two reds, etc
all going thru conduit into a junction box on wall behind stove/ wire nut stuff inside it
The wall only has three wires coming out, a black, a white and a bare
I didn't take a pic of the old wires, which had all kinds of nonsense colors crimped and twisted together
Was thinking my old range was 110V due to only the three coming out of the wall
figured it out, the black coming out of wall had 110V on it and so did the White. Didnt have a neutral and that was my conundrum
But got it all sorted out and new range just had the clock set

    Don’t worry about it Rick,

Lots of people don’t know that a white wire can be used to carry current in certain situations like a switch loop or 240v circuit. I once read on here scatter shots method of laying out a rafter, he might know insurance but I wouldn’t listen to him for building or fixing anything

Get one of these and wire in. Screws to wall. Plug stove instead of hard wiring in

that's what I ended up doing, changed stove cord from 4 wire to three wire and bought three wire 50 amp range wall mount outlet.
Google and two SCDucks buddies were there for me
