There are another couple sets of shoals between the landing at 39 and the Greenwood dam and depending on the water level they can be tricky. The first time we went the USGS Stream Flow site said the water level was 2.95 and had no major problems. We would run up to the shoals, check it out to see the best path, and give it a go. Friday the water level was 6.5 so it was pretty easy. I guess the biggest factor in being able to run it is I bought a 1756 Aweld with a forward center console powered by a 90/65 Yamaha Jet about 18 months ago. The catfish was normal looking until it got put on ice.
