I am considering upgrading to a couple feet more in a center console. Looking around 30 to 32 ft.
A couple of feet is significantly more but moving to a Tier 1 is even worse. Is it worth it?

Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.
Yes

Depends on two things. 1. Do you fish often and hard? 2. How deep your pockets are
Note: Number one can be ignored when number two is large enough.
add Southport to the list....and I don't own any of these nor do any immediate family members at the moment but I reserve the right to say do it just so I can watch someone else spend a lot of money instead of me.
What brand boat are you using now? Have you ever barked the props or broke your boat in use?
Also- are you planning to buy new?
I would pay more for a used Regulato/Yellowfin/Contender/Everglades than a brand new Sea Hunt etc.
so, who owns the pink/peach freeman?
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
The last two were Sportsmen. 28 ft now. I love speed but avoid barking.
New for sure. I hate fixing stuff.

Southport, Cape Horn, 42 Freeman
Bah! Humbug!
Absolutely worth it.
Get a yellowfin and be done with it
Sea Vee would be hard to beat.
We were down in the keys and several small issues came up. Fuel gauge stopped working was the most aggravating. Wiring for fresh water pump. Weather stripping around tuna door.Poor performance of depth finder, from the start. Battery leaked and stunk up the world. Autopilot over-sensitive. Screws falling out. corrosion on stainless steel. Electrical connection corrosion.
Just boat things I guess.
I have money but I'm very tight by nature.
