    It's kinda like this....

You go to buy a new car and said car was advertised to get 25mpg. So you buy it and start driving it. Come to find out, you're only getting 13mpg. Would it not bother you?

In his defense he did say 40+ steps and not yards. Maybe he takes small steps.

I've learned to pick and choose my battles. I kinda grows on you, or maybe I'm just better at ignoring it now. Either way, it is what it is.

I had the same thing happen to me with my 870. First pattern with the truglo ssx was 70ish and the pattern was very high and left. I was disappointed to say the least. Then I tried the RSF and it was 160ish. The good part was my 20" pattern was very even. I almost had the entire payload in that 20"s. Try another choke. Some guns like an open choke others like it tight.

The purple house kinda looks like the one I just built. Except the curve on the front porch, and mine is white..

Doc, I think you need to up your daily intake of happy gas. The man that started this thread patterned his gun as well, and he is unhappy with his results. He doesn't want to settle with sub standard results. A man can kill a turkey with a winchester AA at 40yds, but that doesn't make it the most ethical choice.

The 2 chokes I've tried we're .570 and .565 . Probably gonna try something in the .555 range next
