    Default 12-3 9pt

Killed this 9pt this evening in a creek bottom behind my house. The buck was shot at by a friend thanksgiving evening with a bow and arrow about a 1/2 mile from my house. He rushed his shot and made a bad shot they trailed blood and lost it in the woods behind my house I helped look for the deer the next day but with no results. I made it home just in time to slide into my tower blind for a short evening sit. About 30 minutes in 2 yearlings came into the bottom running around then left. 20 minutes later 2 more does slipped into the corn pile and right behind them was this guy. I knew the minute he turned and looked up at the does it was the same exact buck that my friend had shot at. One shot from the old 7mm magnum finished the job.

Yeah I saw a deer at 500 yards that looked similar to that deer yesterday off the Rocky River. It went towards the river and someone shot across where he was headed. I figured it was a long shot that the deer I saw was on here when I got home lol.

Sorry didn't think about taking any pics of the arrow wound I am just use to killing deer that other people wound. I have one pic I took when I found him you can see the broadhead hole. It entered high in front of the shoulder went thru the brisket and came out on the front of his chest between his legs and the broadhead also cut his left front leg.
