    There's no bur on any of the plants.

    I planted a bunch of millet last year and very little came up

    I've never had any of bur reed in the past.

    burr reed.

    Seed pods or burrs are gone by now, they drop in early Fall.

    Very common in the Upstate, and very invasive.
