Default Cornfield Hunt Oct. 1, 2016

How many wood ducks did those guys shoot? The early shooting looked like almost all woodies.

I'm not so sure some of those guys weren't in a "bad spot" also. Course I'm not going to throw stones cause I've been there a few times myself.

Amen! I agree 100%. That's the best thing you've said in a while.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Wood ducks landing on your head is fun, plain and simple.

I participated in a shoot that looked like that this past year except it was 95% bluebills.

I have been on one hunt like that, I will definitely never forget it! Nothing like a good Rimini hunt!

It would surprise a lot of folks to know just how many little 4-6 acre swamp corn ponds look like that every single Saturday from Fort Motte to 378 on the Wateree.

It's extremely easy to get caught up in it and wind up with a PILE of ducks floating belly up in 10 minutes time.

I was involved in a shoot very similar to this last year. Best duck hunt I've ever been on. Legal light was 7:02 and at 7:28 we finished off our 6 man limit of nothing but gadwall. Sat there and watched them poor in by the hundreds for another 30 minutes. It was hard to hang the gun up, but well worth it.
