I didn't get pic of the two culprits. I'll get them tomorrow.

EGR cooler is the steam/white smoke.

Front timing cover is ate away and a hole surfaced allowing oil into crankcase. The hole came from coolant cavitating (bubbling) and it ate the cover like sand blasting metal.

The coolant additive Ford recommends is no joke FYI....

If you don't delete the ram it isn't any better. My boss drives a 14 5500 and I drive a 15. Both have the same problems at the same mileage. Almost scary how similar the problems are. His is at 55,000 and mine is 32,000. I got mine in November and I've had to have it in the shop for over a month total time since I got it.

I was driving to superior machine in Florence in a truck with less then 2000 miles and the intake tube to intake shatter . We wrecker the truck to Darlngton ford and they did a outstanding job getting us back on the road. They took part off a new truck and got us going. Boss said it cost more to keep running than to buy.

They taking sealed bids, the truck is 4 door with a very nice flat bed. Mileage est 60000. I'm thinking about $8000.00 is what I may bid. What you think it's worth santeeawmper?
