What years were the Parr and Dawkins pictures?
What season was the Tamie pic? SCWA?
Yeah it was ratty but it was the only motel in the game unless you drove an hour or so. And the Sahara had a breakfast to die for!!!
Awesome pics JAB. Those pictures bring back many good memories of those days. I know my body couldn't take what I put it through for some ducks back then. But we didn't need all the fancy trinkets and gizmos they have today to kill mallards. I remember wading around in a slough picking up dekes at mid-morning after limiting out, while watching wave after wave of ducks migrating in. And this was in SC. Now except for woodies you have to drive 11 or more hours to consistently kill a limit of big ducks.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
"I here repeat, & would willingly proclaim, my unmitigated hatred to Yankee rule—to all political, social and business connections with Yankees, & to the perfidious, malignant, & vile Yankee race."
Breaking ice in blue jeans and standing titty deep to kill ducks with a Stevens 311 wearing Viet-nam camo. Lead 6's were the shit and drum brakes frozen solid when we left the swamp. Thought I was gonna freeze to death plenty of times.
Those were the good old days- have you ever had a chew of frozen Red Man?- Sure seemed a lot colder back in the 70's and early 80's.
"New" old ones from the Wateree River. Many more to come that I haven't gotten yet. These guys didn't have $1000 waders. They didn't have waders at all...
I bet none of them chopped off their dicks!
Way to go gentlemen! Awesome hunts
Yup, he's crazy...
like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.
Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

That's a fine looking shoot-gun in that last pic...
Dawkins Landing, back when you could kill da shit ouf of ducks on Parr. One of my best memories is at Dawkins around 1986 or so. It had snowed like hell the day before we went. Around 2:00 clock the ducks for some odd reason started pouring out of the refuge like mosquitos. And to to top it off they flew over the flats low as hell. Damn good thing the game warden was nowhere around. Probably one of the best hunts of my life on Parr.

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Missing you my great friend.
I just want to go back to the days of holding up a greenhead as a trophy because every other fist is holding a stack of blackducks...
I can pick out your dad and BK pretty well, looked like my FIL or what I call him in the first page.. I was looking for a pic earlier that I found of slowie's dad and my father after a prison farm hunt holding 12s and birds. I seem to be having a hard time.
I hear tell of an Elloree boy and 3 Fort Motte boys that would slip into Fork Swamp on high water in 2001-02.
Can they still be prosecuted given that the land is now under Federal ownership and not private hands?
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
I don't believe that there is any statute of limitation on wildlife crimes in SC or I might could tell the stories I heard behind several of those images and many more to come...
Just do it.
Fuck da popo
I'm tired of reading about trans faggots and homos and fags and black female basketball victims.
Let's hear about black ducks and mallards and freedom loving men dumping corn.
Corn should be held in much higher regard than it is.
Most anything can be baited in with it lol.

I have been saying since we started this site, hell before, that DNR should sell off "their" lands and put that money into aerial corn baiting of every suitable swamp and marsh to benefit the public hunter. I am still not wrong...
