    Default 50 yard Group

I've been shooting bows for a long time, and since I bought my Halon 6 back in March, it has me believing in Mathews again.

When I say that, I mean in all my years shooting bows, I've never been able to group arrows at 50 yards like I've been doing lately. Tonight was my best personal grouping at 50. Sure, its a few inches to the right and down from the official circles. It's still a dead deer all day.

Look back and find my review on this bow, and the sight! That vertical pin system is a helluva lot better than the horizontal.

    This is a badass bow!

Keep shooting like that and you are going to need more arrows. Good group but at 50 yards in the woods there is a difference.

    ***PRO TIP****
Duck Cutter gave me this deer Target today, as you can see I transformed it into a sled so I could move it around the yard instead of having to keep hammering pins/rebar every time I want to move it.

Pretty easy to do, just cut a 2x4 in two sections. Get you 2 concrete steel stakes with points, and drill a hole in the wood a little smaller than the stakes. Take a hammer, and hammer in until its pretty snug. Slid into the stake holes, and now you can move about the yard without hammering in stakes every time you want to move it and forgetting and hitting them with the lawn mower.

I couldn't group them that tight if I had the bow clamped in a vice.

I got a target like that on sleds like you have yours in my shop. On rainy days during deer season I move a couple pallets of shingles and have a 40 yard range. Good shooting

I have that bow also. 70# 28inch. Such a smooth and easy bow to shoot. Had the HTX also. Both are good bows but now having both, the Halon is the better of the two.
