Get two. Best thing since the hecs suit. And the treecoy. And the ground grunt tube (30' long grunt tube=insane results)

Never used one. Hunting the right wind for a stand will eliminate the need for one

That depends on from which direction the deer come

True, I guess it will eliminate some of the need for one.

I have a couple friends that believe they work as advertised.

If you got one of every gadget that might help your success at getting a deer, you'd need a sherpa to get to the stand.

It's often impossible to hunt the wind, like when there isn't any predominant direction and it's swirly or dead still. The ozonics gizmo might actually help on those kind of days but it's just too bulky for me. On those occasions, I will sometimes use a cover scent that I think can block a deer's ability to smell yet doesn't smell foreign to him.

I remember the first time I saw a commercial for Ozonics. Jay Gregory was doing the commercial, telling all about how great it is. It was during a show that he also hosted, and his son had shot a 150+inch whitetail. The kid was so pissed that his dad didn't get the shot on camera, that he seemed genuinely disgusted by even holding the deer's antler. He was probably 10 years old. I thought to myself that anything he promotes, is a gimmick and shows he doesn't know what he is doing, especially how to raise a son.

I'm sure it probably helps but I'd hate to have to lug it around all the time. I just keep my clothes in a scent proof bag with pine needles to mask my scent, and play the wind the best I can. Even with marginal winds in August I rarely have deer bust me. I also keep a cold moist wash cloth that was washed in scent killer to wipe off sweat during bow season.

It just seems like it would be bulky to carry around, but then again I guess its no worse then carrying a pair of binoculars.

Can't say they work or don't. A strict scent control regiment is all you need. Shower before with scent away. Don't wear your hunting clothes in your vehicle. Dress when you get there and always have you clothes stored in sealed containers with pine or something in them. I use scentlock clothes, I think it helps. Then spray down with scent killer before walking in. I also carry a small bottle and spray down a few times in the stand.

IMO, None of that makes a difference if a deer gets downwind of you. I've done all of that and got busted more times than I care to count.
