Fisher claims FSU's soft tissue injuries down 90%
Said it during one of the interviews in his ESPN car wash today. If that's accurate, that's absolutely insane and any team that is not currently using a system such as this is getting farther behind the curve.

If pro Rugby teams or using it I'd say it's at least worth looking into. Those guys hit hard and don't use pads or helmets and from what I've read their injury rates are far below the NFL rates.

you will think twice about leading with your head if you aint wearing a helmet.
todays athletes are stronger and faster. AND their equipment is stronger and LIGHTER which multiplies their speed.
My high school football uniform (1985) probably weighed 20-30lbs including pads, cleats, helmet etc. That tends to slow you down over the course of a game.
Today's football uniform might weigh half that.
I think the new light equipment contributes to the increase in injuries.
