Pretty solid storm just came through here. And another one is right behind it. Looking the radar, it looks like we are just getting started.

    Be safe everyone.

Got pretty bad here in Columbia. Hail, lots of power out. Sitting in the dark at work hoping the bosses will just tell us to go home haha.

It's getting pretty sketchy here now.

Winds howling and the rain has started sideways.

That would have been right after it passed me. I went outside after it passed and it sounded like Kingstree was catching hell. It thundered for a solid 10 minutes nonstop. That may have been the tornado

We were on Clarks Hill at Hickory Knob. Typically summer thunderclounds until about 2:30 or 3:00. A sudden burst of wind, hail, and rain. Visibility went to an effective zero. It moved through in less than ten minutes. Trees down, power outage over at Elijah Clark State Park and some serious damage at Mistletoe State Park. Trees went down onto campers and vehicles. A 5 year old was taken to the hospital (they were inside one of the campers) with non life threatening injuries.

My mom lives in GA and they had a couple of tornados touch down in her town. The fallen power lines caused a fire to start in her yard. Luckily no one was hurt but looks like she will be without power for a while.
