    Default Charleston inshore guides

Looking to take my dad on and inshore charter in a few weeks. Anybody have any recommendations? Looking to catch some red fish, trout, and sheepshead.

Tom Somepolishnameicantspellmuchlesspronounce (Capt Tom), Johnny Crisplip, Peter Brown, those would be my first three suggestions.

Capt Tom has sombreros to wear for sun protection, I don't think other guides provide those without an extra fee.

I'd be curious to know who that is. I can't remember the name, but took a charter for bachelor party weekend a few years back. Guide was garbage and we didn't catch a single fish. Boat looks familiar.

J.R. Waits - Fish call charters out of IOP. Fished with him many times and always had good results, he is a good guy as well. Only reason we stopped using him is because we got a flats boat and learned how to do it ourselves.

A lot of great suggestions already but you should check out Capt Jeremy @ Charleston Shallows. You won't be disappointed.

I've fished with Johnny. Had a great trip. I've also heard lots of praise for Capt Tom but never met the man.
