Default Greenville Steak - my top 10

I've been to every acclaimed steakhouse in Greenville and vicinity multiple times; with our recent addition from the Lowcoutry, Halls, being the only exception. Looking forward to taking my wife there soon.

I have favorites at each place, but as far as the total package, criteria being, in weighted order of importance to me personally:
    - pricing/value
    - quality and variety of steaks
    - overall service
    - wine selection
    - ambience
    - wait staff
    - accoutrements

First place has to go to Rick Erwin's, just look at this cut of meat.... Maybe Halls will take its place once I have a chance to try it out.

The balance of my top 10 Greenville steakhouses, based on the criteria above, regarding steak particularly.

    2. Strip Club 104
    3. Augusta Grill
    4. Sassafras
    5. Chophouse 47
    6. Larkins
    7. Peddler
    8. Breakwater - not an "acclaimed steakhouse" but they know how to cook a steak
    9. Saskatoon
    10. Brick Street Cafe

    2) halls

I have been to Hall's and I like Mr. Hall very much. His family knows how to run a damn business, I know that for sure, their food is great.

I know Halls in Charleston does. I'm curious to hear some opinions on the difference between wet and dry aged.

What is the price point on that Erwin steak? I buy that same cut, from the same supplier most likely, often and would like to know how I am doing. Great list by the way.

I believe that steak is around ninety dollars. I had a bunch of gift cards and tried it. It was great. I would rather go to the Strip Club 104 though and they serve dry aged steaks there for those that were wondering

I don't remember it being that much when I went a while back most steaks were 60

My bad, I thought that was the tomahawk Ribeye. That looks a bit smaller than the tomahawk (90 dollar one). I got the meat sweats after eating that

Good list. I have not been to all of the ones on your list as I usually only venture to these places with customers, but have been to most of them and a few of those many times. I prefer Larkin's over Rick Erwin's. For a single steak, I would rather have the Chile rubbed Delmonico from Firebird's over any steak I have had in Greenville. I think Firebird's is very under-rated for the quality of food and price; just not in the downtown club so doesn't get mentioned as much.

Made the list based on variety of meats (elk, venison, bison, etc) over quality

The elk tenderloin is top notch though
